4" x 2" cylinder, 8" highway tires, bolt-on log cradle, auto return valve

All our cylinders come with a 2 inch shaft (vs. the usual 1 3/4" or 1
7/8") for more splitting force.

With a 6" x 6" x 1/2" 'H' beam, the AM-24HR for non-commercial users is heavy duty
American CLS log splitters are perfectly balanced and have a functionnal work area. Crucial components of the machines are protected from stray pieces of wood.
All our cylinders come with a 2 inch shaft (vs. the usual 1 3/4" or 1 7/8")
for more splitting force.
Our Honda engines are from the GX Series. The GX Series
offers a broad range of heavy duty commercial grade engines.
These engines are superior (therefore more expensive) than the Honda GC Series engines
offered by other manufacturers. We also value the Briggs & Stratton
Intek I/C as a more reliable engine than the GC.

The PTO unit (only the diagram is shown) is a must for tractors that need additional hydraulics to operate our log splitter
Large tractors operate more economically with a PTO pump.
PTO units are available with 12 or 20 GPM pumps, depending on hp.

It doesn't matter how big the log is, you're in total control of this log splitter. This machine splits big (and we nean BIG) logs with ease at a blistering speed, with a 13 hp Honda. This logspliter has three levers; one to place the super heavy log on the beam, one to adjust the height of the wedge (HW or hydraulic wedge), and of course one to activate the cylinder's powerful splitting action.
